  1.                         HEROES of FUE #126 by Fannie Firx

  3.         Brandishing a mop, the enraged wurgle charged the giant ugly
  4. beeble.  `Bark, woof!', it cried. The beeble, a veteran of the dreaded third
  5. level, merely sidestepped, sending the tiny wurgle crashing into a wall.
  6. It laughed horribly, a loud demented sound in the deserted corridor.
  7.         `So you dare, tiny wurgle, to challenge me, the King of Beebles?',
  8. the horrid creature snarled.  `You shall pay dearly for your temerity,
  9. foolish creature!'. The great beeble gnashed its mandibles in derision as the
  10. weary wurgle struggled to right itself, using the mop, now cracked and
  11. scarred from the mighty collision with the wall.
  12.         From deep within its courageous soul, the tired wurgle summoned
  13. its courage.  Feebly waving the limp mop it addressed the beeble, who was
  14. preparing condiments and serving dishes in anticipation of a tasty meal.
  15.         `O great and Magnificent Beeble!', it cried.  ` I am but a small,
  16. poor wurgle, bereft of companions, and you are a great and fearsome beast,
  17. yet, yet, I say, I, Wilbur Wurgle, shall defeat you, or go down trying, at
  18. any rate.  Prepare for battle!!!'  And saying this, the wonderful wurgle
  19. charged.  Dust and feathers flew everywhere as they met, obscuring the
  20. battle from mortal eyes.  Many were the cries and groans of the participants;
  21. the very halls of FUE shook with the sounds of the battle. At last it was over.
  22.         When the dust settled, the wurgle and the beeble were both dead, so
  23. a small army of bleebs cleaned up the remains, and went home.
